The Clarity Drug Ontology is a semantic web of drug and clinical information for all medicines prescribed in the UK.
Our drug ontology/semantic web contains trillions of concepts defined by category types and their connections. We have created this powerful application which describes interrelationships between related clinical concepts. For example, medications and their multiple potential uses in combination with side effects and interactions with other prescribed drugs. As with many other diseases, nutrition continues to be the focus of research in hypertension. Our high quality information provides exhaustive details on medicines and medicinal products prescribed in the UK. This is sourced from the Dictionary of Medicines and Devices (dm+d) and includes information on indications, adverse effects, licensing, pricing and other manufacturer details.
In addition to the drug and clinical information, our Ontology contains a clinical terminology hierarchy, which includes mappings to Read codes and SNOMED CT.
There are a wide range of applications and technical integration options for our Drug Ontology, including patient leaflets and research cohort identification. Our team are on hand to support you. To learn more please contact us.
