As CEO Tim has overall responsibility for Clarity’s strategy, performance, and operations. Since 2011, Tim led Clarity’s development from a not-for-profit business into a full commercial enterprise. In the process, Tim helped focus Clarity on servicing the needs of Primary Care in the UK. Tim’s background is in law. He is a former Board Member of the international law firm, DAC Beachcroft LLP and still practises law with London-based Memery Crystal LLP. Tim also co-founded the technology disputes consultancy, Cerno.

Dr Gerry Morrow has a background of 20 years as a GP, when his interests were in cognitive behavioural therapy, end-of-life care and patient involvement. He has a wide experience in clinical informatics, quality improvement, and evidence-based medicine. He edits Clinical Knowledge Summaries content and is our Data Protection Officer and Caldicott Guardian. Over the years, he has published extensively on all aspects of clinical care, healthcare developments and the shared-care approach to clinical practice.

Technical & Operations Director
James has over 16 years experience delivering technical projects for a variety of clients, including the NHS, Scottish Parliament and Channel 4. A major proponent of agile methods, involving the customer throughout, allows James and his team to deliver high quality and complex solutions that meet both requirements and timescales.
David joined Clarity as Finance Director in 2019. Prior to this he was a Director at the Big 4 accountancy firm Deloitte LLP. During his 19 years at Deloitte he gained experience of advising a wide range of companies ranging from fast growing private companies to established international businesses. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Accountants in England and Wales and is a Trustee of the charity Victims First Northumbria.
James has been at Clarity since 2010. Starting his journey in customer support, James quickly invested himself in the company allowing him to acquire both in-depth product and customer knowledge. Highly commercially focussed, James continued to support Clarity by building an impressive sales and partnership portfolio over the years. Now as Sales Director, James brings his hands-on experience of the healthcare market, healthcare technology and customer knowledge to lead the commercial team.
Russell supports the Board and the senior team in developing long term strategy. After qualifying in Medicine, Russell followed his true calling and went on to complete an MSc in Computer Science. Following a long career developing software, and then managing IT businesses, he came full circle by founding the company that developed TeamNet for GPs which joined the Clarity group in 2016.
